Tours will always run, dependent solely on sufficient ticket sales for the tour.

Positioning moves are dependent on some other charter or tour actually operating.  If that charter or tour cancels, its related positioning move will also cancel.  Generally, we know between 60 and 45 days prior to the move date whether a given positioning move will operate.

Especially when booking positioning moves, it's best to make your other travel plans with a carrier that does not impose change or cancellation fees.  Southwest Airlines, for instance, does not penalize changes or cancellations.
